Thanks to Christos and his lovely wife Konstantina we spent an unforgettable afternoon in Meteora. They took my me and my wife to very special spots along the way to show us some of the most astonishing views we have ever seen. Not only could I take some breathtaking pictures, I also learned a lot about photography and even about my camera. Christos is a very knowledgeable, generous and passionate guide. We decided to take the 4 hour sunrise photo tour. Christos picked us up at 5 am and showed us the best spots in Meteora to snap beautiful sunrise pictures. Once the sun was up, he showed us the best spots to photograph the beautiful monasteries of Meteora. Outside of the tour guiding, he gave us many great tips and tricks to snap the best possible pictures. Kalambaka is a spectacular and surreal place because of the jaw dropping views of Meteora and its wonderful people. I decided to booked a sunset photo tour to surprise my partner and it was the best decision ever! Konstantina and Christos delivered a great experience, stunning spots and beautiful pictures. We are going to be forever grateful to them. This is a wonderful City but when you find people and professionals like them you know your experience is going to surpass all the expectations! Konstantina and Christos introduced themselves as tour guides and picked us up to go on a “sunset tour”. They drove us passed the popular busy spots and brought us to a secluded area to see “the best sunset in town”. It sure was! Moments later, I was ENGAGED! At which point I looked back and saw Konstantina and Christos working their camera magic. They even brought us champagne and gifts! I can’t begin to tell you how kind and warm hearted they were. It was touching to see them be so moved. Given the fact we were a gay couple in a religious town, they went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. I later found out my fiancé and them worked for moths to plan the surprise proposal. From location scouting, to the time and place. They worked with us every step of the way. Honestly they feel like fiends. And the pictures you ask? It’s difficult to find words to describe how they were able to capture the emotion and the essence of the moment. From my shocking laughter, to the big question, and the kiss. I am forever grateful to them.
