You will be greeted by your photographer and start photographing the traditional village of Kastraki which lies on the footpath of the Meteora rocks. We will take you on an unprecedented tour around the UNESCO Heritage site of Meteora, photographing its multitude of unique visual highlights. In your private vehicle and with some light walking, you and your photographer guide will spend about 6 hours visiting and exploring the beautiful landscape and some ancient monasteries which sit atop these rock formations .
Also you will have about 1 hour of free time for a coffee or a snack in the city of Kalampaka or the village of Kastraki. Learn the basic in photography (if needs) and also how to photograph at different times of the day.
As we progress toward sunset you will be presented with a magical view only found in Meteora (depends on the season).

- A dress code is required to enter places of worship and monasteries. No shorts or sleeveless tops allowed. Knees and shoulders MUST be covered for both men and women. You may risk refused entry if you fail to comply with these dress requirements

Our tours are suitable all levels, from amateur to professional photographers. The tour is led by Christos and Konstantina, professional photographers and Meteora locals. There will be discussions and tips on composition, different angles, technical aspects and everyday usage of your camera and some historical facts about the area of Meteora.
The tour will be conducted by vehicle combined with easy paced walking and small to medium elevation changes along the way. There will be some walking on uneven routes so make sure you wear appropriate shoes.
It is recommended that you bring a tripod, or ask us to bring one for you!
Don’t worry. We are able to teach you tips and tricks on your compact camer, smart phone, ipad or tablet too.
It is recommended to use wide angle and telephoto lenses when shooting the Meteora area. You can use ploarizer or ND filters to enhance images of rivers and waterfalls (depending on the season). These are recommended for Plastiras Lake and Zagori mountain tours.
Yes you can! We are able to do the tour using smartphone, iphone - ipad or tablet too.
In case of heavy rain we can reschedule for the next day or we can cancel the tour and give you a refund. If the rain starts and stops or it is a just a drizzle we will use umbrellas or take a coffee break and continue when the rain subsides. Keep in mind that sometimes in the art of photography unstable weather can give us opportunities for the best photos.
